Looking after your skin does not need a long list of products. Here is a simple routine using our Ayurvedic face and body care, inspired by the plants of Kerala.
How do you cleanse your face?
Our Cleansing Face Wash is a foaming gel with aloe vera and rose oil and a soft rose scent. On days when you want something creamier, our Cleansing Lotion with aloe vera removes the day's make up and grime without the need to rinse with a foaming wash.
How often should you use a face mask?
Once or twice a week. Our Turmeric Face Mask blends turmeric with neem, bergamot and petitgrain. See how to use a turmeric face mask.
How do you moisturise?
Our Face Cream uses cocoa butter, vitamin E, chaulmoogra and vetivert root oil, with an earthy scent. Apply a small amount morning and evening.
What about hands and lips?
Our Hand Cream is made for hands that do a lot of washing up or face cold weather, and our Lip Balm uses cocoa butter for a soft feel.
Who makes Holy Lama face care?
Our face care is hand filled and hand labelled at our own factory in Kerala, India, by a family business that dates back to 1946. More than 80% of our workforce is women, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, and production waste is used as fuel or as cattle feed rather than sent to landfill. Our face care is vegan, except Lip Balm, which contains beeswax.
