How we use cookies
Cookies are small files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in the same way, and we call them all cookies here.
When you first visit our site, we ask whether you are happy for us to use cookies that are not essential. We only use them if you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time (see 'Changing your mind' below).
Cookies we always use
Essential cookies make the shop work: they keep items in your basket, keep checkout secure and remember your cookie choice. These are set by Shopify, which runs our shop, and by our cookie consent tool. The law does not require consent for these, and the site will not work properly without them.
Cookies we only use with your consent
- Analytics: Google Analytics and Hotjar help us understand how people use our site, such as which pages are popular and where visitors get stuck, so we can improve it.
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads help us measure our adverts and show our products to people who may be interested. These tools can build a picture of your interests across other websites.
- Marketing: Klaviyo helps us understand whether our emails are useful and lets us show relevant sign up offers.
- Reviews and chat: our review tools and chat button may set cookies when they load, to show reviews and remember your chat.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time. Clear the cookies for holylama.co.uk in your browser settings and the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit, so you can choose again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, but if you block essential cookies the shop may not work properly.
To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google's opt out add on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
