The 2020 series of Great British Bake Off will be making a return to our screens after being successfully filmed, despite the odds, and Holy Lama Spice Drops® is hoping to make it a hattrick with a finalist using one of our products for a third year in a row!
In the 2018 series, Kim-Joy Hewlett reached the finals and used Holy Lama Orange Spice Drops® in one of her bakes, commenting: “I love the Orange Spice Drops® and they are amazing when you want flavour without orange rinds affecting texture (e.g for creme pate!)”
Just four drops ofOrange Spice Drops®are the same as the zest of half an orange and add versatility because they blend easily with any liquid, providing you that ‘just squeezed’ taste of fresh orange rind without increasing the volume of liquid. In 2019Holy Lama Spice Drops®soared to victory as finalist and eventual winner of the series David Atherton, an international health advisor from London, used ourLemon Spice Drops® in the showstopper.
Judges, Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith remarked on how of the three finalists, David was the most relaxed and calm. We think we know why!
As fellow contestant Steph Blackwell worked up a sweat, grating the zest of several lemons, fretting over whether or not her illusion cake mixture tasted lemony enough, David was seen calmly adding a couple of drops of Lemon Spice Drops® to his, commenting:
“So, these areLemon Spice Drops®. Instead of having to sit and zest the lemon, it gives a really intense lemon flavour.”
Made with fresh lemons from India, just two drops of the Lemon Spice Drops® equates to the zest of one whole lemon.
Like the Orange Spice Drops®, the Lemon Spice Drops® are more versatile than lemon oil because they blend easily with any liquid. Spice Drops® are made using an extraction process which has been perfected over 20 years and ensures the natural goodness of the raw ingredients is retained.
Adored by the nation, Bake Off’s Val also became an advocate of our Spice Drops. Val created her bespoke Spice Drop rack which she’s utilised for making cakes as well as chutneys!Create your ownselection of Spice Drops and get baking!
With Spice Drops® there is no need to peel, grate, grind or chop and there is no waste. What’s more with a shelf life of three years, the results will be consistent every time – unlike with dried herbs or spices which lose their flavour very quickly.
Our Spice Drops are a must in your cupboards, take it from theBake Offstars themselves!… As the nation waits with bated breath to hear when Channel 4 will air the 2020 series of GBBO,stock up on Holy Lama Spice Drops®to jazz up your baking the easy way!
