Why work with us on it
We own the factory. Questions about formulation get answered by the people doing the formulating.
We started in extraction. The family business was in essential oils and perfumery before it was anything else. That knowledge is the reason Spice Drops exist.
We source directly. Raw materials come from farmers in Kerala we have worked with for years, so traceability is short.
Small batch is normal for us. The factory is semi automated rather than fully industrial, which is why our soap is close to handmade and why development work is not a disruption.
How a project starts
Tell us what you are trying to make and what it needs to do. If it is an extract, tell us the application and the flavour profile you are chasing. If it is skincare, tell us the format and what matters most: texture, scent, ingredient constraints, or the claim you want to be able to make.
From there we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can do well.
About the factory
Our factory in Kerala is a government recognised women's enterprise where more than 80% of the workforce is women. It is semi automated, which is what allows small runs and hand finishing. Production waste is used as fuel or as cattle feed rather than sent to landfill.
